The professors and researchers involved with the Control Group comes mainly from two parallel institutions, both at UNAM: the Department of Automation of the Engineering Research Institute (Instituto de Ingeniería) and the Electrical Engineering Section of the Graduate School of Engineering (DEPFI). Researchers from the Instrumentation Center of UNAM (Centro de Instrumentos) are also part-time teachers.
