Robot KUKA KR350/1 Although automatic control systems have existed for a large amount of time, the development of technology since the 50's has allowed an expansion in the area of influence of automation, to the extreme that practically speaking the modern world couldn't exist as we know it, without the use of automatic controllers.
The National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM for its acronym in Spanish) is the largest and oldest university in Mexico. The Faculty (School) of Engineering is the oldest in Latin America and has been a leader in almost every area of Engineering ever since. The Graduate Division of this Faculty (DEPFI), with its own buildings and library, is where this Control Group has its headquarters. The objectives of the group are the formation of human resources (master and doctoral level) in the area of control and the development of research projects.

This is the third version of our webpage and we have made a complete change in appearance but the content is almost the same, in comparison to the second version. Just a few more sections (projects and links), the image section was updated and we introduced the English version.
