Electrical Engineering Master and Doctorate programs, option: Automatic Control

Master Program

At DEPFI the master in Automatic Control is an option of specialization of the master degree in Electric Engineering.

Although the master studies have a flexible plan is highly recommended to follow the plot designed for the automatic control studies. There are courses in the basic field, the major field, and optional courses, if you want to look to the complete list of courses and the admission requirements, you can see the page of the Electrical Section.

Graduated Student Profile

The graduated in the automatic control master is a specialist in the area, with the mathematical background needed to solve research and applied problems, industrial process problems inclusive. Also the student is prepared to start a career in the basic science research.

Program of studies

The plot of courses has two fields: the major field and specialization field, besides there optional courses, the propedeutic courses, two research seminars and the thesis work, in such way the student must cover at least 72 credits
Major field: It consists of four obligatory courses of 6 credits each one.
Specialization Field: It consists of a course of six credits.
Optional Courses: The student must course at least three of them, each course has a 6 credits equivalence.
Propedeutic Courses: There are three courses with a total of 140 hours.
